Welcome to The Rotary Club of Scranton Web site. We invite you to take a look around our site and find out more about our Club and about Rotary.
President's Message
Rotary has been an important factor in bringing health, peace and literacy throughout the world. By joining our hands together with other Rotarians, helping others is easier, more rewarding, and often, a lot of fun.
The Rotary Club of Scranton would like to invite you to come and "check us out". Our doors are always open to guests who may be interested in becoming a member and we love to host visiting Rotarians. So come and join us on Mondays at 12:00 noon at the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel in downtown Scranton. I know you'll have fun and meet many great Rotarians.
Join Rotary, and never again will you say,
"What can I do? I'm only one person".
The Rotary Club of Scranton was chartered in 1914 and has served the Scranton community continuously for 95 years.
President
Margaret McCormick
Our most recent project is a donation to Shelterbox to purchase and send a "shelterbox" to Haiti. Each ShelterBox is a large, rugged, green plastic container that holds a 10-person tent and a range of other equipment. In general, typical box contents could include thermal blankets, a multi-fuel stove, water purification tablets, basic tools and a children's pack.

For more information on Shelterbox, click here.
